Springtime is Meeting Time for Interlawyers.
Two Regional Meetings, the Americas and Europe, Middle East and Africa took place this quarter. And two Special Business Team Meetings “piggy-backed” upon the meetings; North America Real Estate (NARE) met at the same time as the Americas; and the European IP/IT Special Business Team met in conjunction with the E/ME/A Regional Meeting. The Global Meeting of Interlaw Marketing Professionals kicked off the season with a “stand alone” meeting in Dallas, Texas.

Firm Awards and News  

Burton Landy, a shareholder in the Miami office of Akerman Senterfitt, chairman emeritus of the firm's international practice and former chair of the Florida Delegation of the Southeast U.S./Japan Association, has been designated by Emperor of Japan Akihito as a recipient of the Medal of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette, for his efforts to promote economic, cultural and educational ties between Florida and Japan.
