From the Editor AALA's Fall 2006 Newsletter

Welcome to AALA’s Fall 2006 Newsletter!  

The temperature may be starting to cool, but our Fall schedule of events is certainly not. 

Summer of 2006 included a wonderful Half-day Seminar at Twelve, a very fun Summer Social at Magnolia Hall and our fantastically successful Business Partner's Luncheon at The Galleria.   In addition to all those offerings, a variety of interesting section meetings took place.

Fall will be no less invigorating.  We have our monthly Speaker series through the end of  the year,  a Fall Social at Silk, Professional Legal Management Week, Region 2 in Louisville, Kentucky and the ALA Community Challenge Weekend.    Plenty of chances to get out and network with your peers!

Lastly, I want to offer my heartfelt apology to Gary Weitzel for an editorial mistake in the Summer Newsletter.   Gary was not properly credited in the lead in for his article on ALAME.  Mea culpa, Gary!
