Interlaw News: Special Business Teams

Customs, Trade and Transportation

Andrew Hudson, a Partner in the Melbourne office of Hunt & Hunt, has a “particular interest” in Customs, Trade and Transport matters and has launched an Interlaw Special Business Team for fellow Interlawyers to join forces. European IP/IT Special Business Team

"Adding Value to IP Assets" is the theme of the European IP/IT Group meeting in Madrid, on 20 May 2004. Luis Fernandez Novoa of Gomez Acebo & Pombo, as host, is arranging an agenda to include presentations on IP litigation across the EU, in the light of further harmonisation; and also on the new Technology Transfer Block Exemption. Women Interlawyers (Rainmakers)

Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmarro’s Cathy Holmes, cholmes@jmbm.com who chairs the special business team comprised of senior women attorneys of Interlaw firms in the Western Hemisphere has set March 24 for the next teleconference to set the agenda for the second annual meeting tentatively scheduled for early October.
